Travel to hell

>I'm doing my (not payed) practices at a funeral home really far from home, which is a good thing for me, mentally. Nobody at work gets it, but I don't need them to and I don't care much, but I feel judged.

It's really hot in here. 35°C here feels hotter than 35°C from where I live, because here the air feels hot and it's dryer than the humid colder air from the Canaries.

My first day was really unfortunate... Apparently my first service was the hardest my instructor had in his life, which is insane, because he's bee working here for YEARS but ok...

I don't really like working here because they are teaching me to scam vulnerable families, they are all friendly but they are gossipping all the fucking time, and the worst part is that they don't clean or disinfect the bodies, they don't even do the basic stuff. And the saddest part is that I can't really do much about it. I tell them "we have to follow this process" and they just don't listen to me because I'm the student. They think I have no experience but I do, I've not only prepared the bodies but also practiced embalming and reconstruction.

So... even if they want to hire me I'm not accepting. There's not even protection for the morticians!! Except for gloves... but not even face masks!!

That's the situation I'm in right now. I'm kinda fucked, but I'm doing what they ask me (avoiding scamming people and trying to protect myself and others as much as I'm able to), and I'm trying my best at all times, as a friend, as a mortician and as a faggot :P.
It's hard.
But I'm trying to think day by day, and thinking "It's only a month, then you'll be free", and listen, at least I'm not alone here.
